Silver by the Sea Inc. offers FREE shipping to our customers in the continental United States. In most cases your purchase will be mailed out within five business days after being placed, via priority mail. You should receive your order approximately five business days after we ship it. For international orders or expedited purchasing inquires, please contact us. Please keep in mind that we do not ship to P.O. box addresses. A street address and phone number are required for all shipments.

All shipments within the state of California will be assessed 7.25% sales tax.
All of our pieces are handcrafted, using only the best materials. We make every effort to ensure the colors on the website closely reflect the actual pieces.
If an item states SOLD OUT we may have more in stock, but keep in mind, due to the inherent nature of gemstones and naturally formed seashells, slight variations in texture and coloring will occur. If you wish to order an item that states sold out please contact us via email and we will make every effort to obtain and to send it to you. The actual colors you see on your monitor may vary, and we cannot guarantee accuracy of your screen. We only ask that you keep these things in mind when ordering. Any questions can be communicated through email or calling us.
We know you will be happy with your purchase. However we will gladly take returns for most items, unless it is a custom order. Custom order sales are final, and may not be returned, or exchanged.
Sale items may be exchanged for store credit only. Any items being returned must be received by us within 21 days of original purchase. We do require that you contact us first and include your original receipt. There will be no reimbursement for shipping and handling charges. Silver by the Sea is not responsible for returns which are lost in transit, so for your protection, please insure the return shipment and make sure the item has some method of tracking.
Damages due to shipping will be replaced by us, free of charge, as long as we are contacted within 48 hours of when you receive your purchase. Items damaged by misuse of the wearer will be repaired for a flat fee of $25 plus cost of additional materials, should they be needed.
